Key Responsibilities

• Analyze large and complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights that influence product and business strategy

• Partner with Product Managers, Engineering, Marketing, and Business teams to understand key problems and define data requirements

• Define success metrics and measurement frameworks for new product features and initiatives

• Validate event instrumentation and ensure accuracy and completeness of data tracking for new feature launches

• Build dashboards, reports, and analytical deep dives to track performance across user lifecycle and product funnels

• Proactively identify growth opportunities, risks, and optimization levers through hypothesis-driven analysis

• Communicate insights clearly through data storytelling, visualizations, and structured recommendations

• Support experimentation culture by defining experiment metrics, evaluating results, and enabling decision making

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong analytical thinking and structured problem-solving ability

• Hands-on experience working with relational databases and writing complex SQL queries

• Good understanding of data modelling, data validation, and metric definitions

• Proficiency in Excel / Google Sheets for exploratory analysis and business modelling

• Experience building dashboards using BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker, etc.)

• Strong stakeholder management and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate data insights into business impact

Good to Have

• Experience in Product Analytics tools such as Amplitude, Mixpanel, Google Analytics, etc.

• Exposure to experimentation frameworks (A/B testing)

• Basic understanding of scripting languages such as Python or R

• Experience working in consumer tech / edtech / subscription businesses
