Responsibilities –

<li>The Indirect Procurement Specialist is responsible for supporting all managers, ensuring that the specified scope (package /material) is completely delivered to the required location at the right time as per contractual requirement.</li>

<li>PO creation, PO management, PO release in ERP (including support for suppliers)</li>

<li>PR change &amp; release</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li>Vendor change/unblocking and onboarding activities.</li>

<li>RFQ &amp; negotiation activities </li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li> Expedite Purchase Orders based on the demands.</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li>Drive Order Acknowledgement &amp; Order Fulfillment as per the Need Date or the Promise Date by closely collaborating with the supplier, logistics and buyers.</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li>Adherence to KPI’s and business SLA’s is mandatory.</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li>Collaborate closely with the suppliers and other business functions like Warehouse, Sourcing, Quality, Finance etc. to resolve any discrepancies. </li>

<li>Frame contracts management.</li>
</ul>

<li>Assist stakeholders in keeping them up to date.</li>

<li>Preferably to have practical knowledge of any Oracle or any other ERP system</li>

<li>Preparing proposals, request quotes and negotiating purchase terms and conditions</li>
</ul>

<li>Preparing and issuing purchase orders and agreements</li>

<li>Monitoring supplier performance and resolving issues and concerns.</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li>Inspecting and evaluating the quality of purchased items and resolving shortcomings</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li>Developing, implementing, and maintaining purchasing policies and procedures</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li>Conducting research to assess vendors, maintain vendor relationships, and negotiate contracts.</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li>Monitoring inventory levels and managing purchasing agreements according to demand.</li>
</ul>

<li>Processing software/hardware/training orders</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li>Vendor relations</li>
</ul>

<li>Negotiating and/or securing discounts</li>

<li>Handling hardware and software inventory management and ensuring margin accuracy on incoming and outgoing orders.</li>

<li>Being one of the main communicators to vendors for quote requests, invoice matters</li>
</ul>

<li>Preparing Indirect Purchase Orders for expenses requiring a PO within 3 days, ensuring 100% accuracy (correct vendor, payment terms,) and compliance with internal procedures in a challenging environment</li>
</ul>

Qualifications we seek in you! 

Minimum qualifications 

<ul>
<li>Bachelor degree in Mechanical/Electrical/equivalent – B.tech preferred</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li>Good years of relevant experience</li>
</ul>

Preferred qualifications

<li>Languages: Fluent in written and spoken English </li>
