Consultants
Responsibilities
- Technical Support (L2/L3)
- Provide advanced technical troubleshooting and resolution for issues escalated from L1 and functional teams.
- Diagnose and resolve issues in X++ code, integrations, data entities, batch jobs, and system performance.
- Perform root cause analysis (RCA) for recurring incidents and implement permanent fixes.
- Manage and maintain integrations with external systems (via Data Management Framework, Azure Logic Apps, Power Automate, APIs, etc.).
2. System Administration & Environment Management
- Coordinate with Microsoft for service requests and environment-related activities.
- Monitor batch jobs, alerts, system performance metrics, and database health.
- Handle user access management, security roles, and audit compliance activities.
3. DevOps & Release Management
- Design, implement, and maintain Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines for build, deploy, and release automation.
- Manage code branching, merge, and version control in Azure DevOps repositories.
- Coordinate build validations and code deployments across multiple environments (DEV → UAT → PROD).
- Ensure adherence to release governance, quality gates, and deployment documentation.
4. Continuous Improvement & Optimization
- Work on performance tuning, code refactoring, and data cleanup activities.
- Collaborate with functional teams to implement system enhancements and automation solutions.
- Identify opportunities for optimization using Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps) and Azure services.
Qualifications we seek in you !
Minimum Qualifications:
- Strong experience as a Technical Developer or Technical Support Engineer in Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (or AX 2012).
- Strong expertise in X++ development, extensions, AOT, data entities, and integrations.
- Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps (Pipelines, Repos, Boards) and D365 LCS environment management.
- Good knowledge of D365 System Administration, Batch job monitoring, User and Role management, and Database performance checks.
- Understanding of data migration, Logic Apps middleware, Power Platform integrations, and API-based connectivity.
- Experience in CI/CD pipeline setup and release automation for Dynamics 365.
- Familiarity with SQL Server, Azure Cloud Services, and Application Insights.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with a focus on incident prevention and system reliability.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations Apps Developer Associate.
- Experience in Managed Services or AMS model for global ERP environments.
- Exposure to Power BI, Fabric, or Azure Data Lake integrations.
- Basic scripting knowledge in PowerShell or Python for automation.
Soft Skills:
- Strong communication and coordination skills with multi-functional and client teams.
- Ability to work in a 24x7 support environment (on-call rotation may apply).
- Proactive mindset with ownership of incident resolution and improvement initiatives.
- Strong documentation discipline and adherence to support SLAs and ITIL practices.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience) preferred.
