Key Responsibilities

<ul>
<li>Conduct export control assessments of software and technology, including ECCN classification and license applicability analysis.</li>

<li>Evaluate red flags, restricted destinations, and escalation triggers for software exports.</li>

<li>Maintain documentation for all classifications, assessments, and regulatory decisions.</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li>Support trade compliance activities across Legal, IP Legal, Delivery, IT, Security, Procurement, and Business units.</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li>Provide export control inputs for RFPs, contractual terms, supplier engagements, and customer inquiries.</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li>Coordinate with sanctions and restricted‑party screening teams; support risk escalations.</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li>Assist in developing and delivering internal training on export control topics.</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li>Track regulatory updates (primarily U.S.; secondarily EU/UK/other regions) and support process improvements.</li>
</ul>

Required Qualifications &amp; Experience

<ul>
<li>Bachelor’s degree (preferred: International Trade, Supply Chain, Engineering, Computer Science, Law, or related field).</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li>5+ years experience in export controls or global trade compliance.</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li>Strong working knowledge of EAR, ITAR, OFAC, and ECCN classification—particularly for software.</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li>Ability to interpret technical descriptions of software/technology.</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li>Excellent written and verbal communication; strong documentation discipline.</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li>High attention to detail, ability to work independently, and manage multiple assessments.</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li>Experience with trade compliance tools, restricted‑party screening platforms, or compliance automation.</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li>Experience supporting compliance in technology-focused or multinational environments.</li>
