Responsibilities:

<li>You will be responsible for supporting Supplier Quality organization with data analysis, aggregation, and reporting of various KPI’s. Data sources include, but are not limited to:</li>

<li>Creation of RFQ packages for Manufacturing parts across various commodities based on production / project requirements and timelines by collecting relevant details like Approved Vendor list, drawings, specifications, checklists etc.</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li>Setup and Run eRFX events using tools like Arriba including reverse auctions if required</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li>Sending RFQ packages to various suppliers in their respective regions or even globally.</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li>Understand queries from Suppliers and coordinate with relevant stakeholders to provide timely clarifications / resolution to suppliers.</li>
</ul>

<li>Post receipt of a response,</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li>Validate responses for completeness and identify variances if any and resolve.</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li>Preliminary Bid Analysis and submit quote comparison report to stake holders</li>
</ul>

<li>Provide recommendations and alternate bid strategy if any for effective price negotiation.</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li>Negotiate with the respective suppliers on price, delivery etc.</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li>Award contract and communicate with Suppliers and relevant stakeholders.</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li>Update necessary systems to enable PO generation.</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li>Liaise with the customers (end-users) to understand their requirements and close them in the given time frame</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li>Proactively identify opportunities for negotiations, for better commercial or contractual terms, including tracking technological advances and innovations disrupting the IT cost-structure</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li>Continuously assess the overall spend, identify and implement savings opportunities</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li>Analyze the purchasing power of the organization and leverage it in effective sourcing strategies, through specification rationalization and regional volume consolidation</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li>Negotiate and conclude the negotiations into standard frameworks/contracts</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li>Ensure that the purchased services are delivered as per the contractual agreement (SLA, KPI, etc)</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li>Will be responsible for tracking actual vs. forecasted savings targets, timely deliveries, Customer Satisfaction, opportunity identifications.</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li>Hosts source selection/procurement review boards. Negotiates pricing and other contract terms and conditions. Prepares and executes negotiated contractual documents and binding agreements. Administers contracts and contract changes. Interprets and enforces contract terms and conditions. Validates compliance with company policies, procedures and contractual requirements.</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li>Identifies strategic suppliers to engage in the new business acquisition process. Conducts bidder conference.</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li>Experience in procurement of turbine components for example Pre-Fabricated Piping, Control compartments, Batteries, HVAC, Inlet duct, Exhaust Ducts, Stack, Filter housing, Dampers, Structures, Firefighting system, Grating, HRSG non-pressure Parts and other Power Plant equipment and systems like Lube oil skids/base plates/Load Coupling/ Small Machines parts, Pumps, Gears, Piping, Transformers, Control panels, Measuring equipment, Coal Material Handling, Water Treatment plant.</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li>Experience in working in EPC Industry will be added advantage.</li>
</ul>

<li>Must possess sound knowledge of global supplier base supplying valves, instruments, industrial raw materials etc.</li>

<li>Should possess good interpersonal skills and must be a team player</li>
</ul>

<li>Should have basic understanding of End to End Sourcing &amp; Procurement processes &amp; its implications in a manufacturing industry</li>
</ul>

Preferred Skills:

<li>Electrical Engineer, Industrial Engineer or Mechanical Engineer</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li>Must have sound knowledge of English – Any knowledge of a foreign language is a bonus</li>

<li>Preferable to have practical knowledge of Ariba e-Procurement tool</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li>Sourcing specific certifications like CPM, SPSM is a plus</li>
