Principal Engineer - IM, Voice · Bengaluru

About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Principal Engineer to join the IM, Voice & Video Engineering team within Workplace Technology (WT) responsible for enterprise collaboration platforms. This role serves as the technical authority for Microsoft Teams Collaboration, Microsoft Teams Voice, Live Events, Microsoft Townhall, and Zoom Video Conferencing.

In this role, you will:

• Act as an advisor to leadership to develop or influence applications, network, information security, database, operating systems, or web technologies for highly complex business and technical needs across multiple groups.
• Lead the strategy and resolution of highly complex and unique challenges requiring in-depth evaluation across multiple areas or the enterprise.
• Translate advanced technology expertise into actionable strategies for large-scale adoption.
• Establish engineering standards and best practices for collaboration platforms.
• Collaborate with product owners and architecture teams to deliver secure and reliable solutions.
• Ensure compliance with information security policies and procedures.
• Drive innovation and continuous improvement in collaboration technologies.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership.
• Manage vendor relationships and evaluate third-party solutions.
• Prepare and present technical documentation and reports to stakeholders.
