Technical/Functional Skills

•Strong hands-on experience with Power BI Desktop and Power BI Service, including report and dashboard development.

•Ability to build data models, create measures, KPIs, and perform complex DAX calculations.

•Proficiency in SQL for data extraction, transformation, validation, and performance tuning.

•Experience building semantic models (star/snowflake schemas), tabular models, and handling data transformations using Power Query.

•Understanding of ETL processes, data warehousing concepts, and integrating data across multiple sources.

•Advanced capability in DAX to create analytical expressions, calculations, and optimized metrics.

•Strong understanding of Power Query (M) for data cleansing and transformation.

•Ability to design intuitive, interactive dashboards following visualization and UX best practices.

•Experience creating custom visuals, implementing row-level security, and managing workspace-level design.

•Knowledge of report deployment, scheduling refreshes, managing gateways, and integrating Power BI with external apps (embedded analytics).

•Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure Data Lake, Azure SQL, etc.) is highly preferred.

•Power BI/Fabric Certifications: Relevant certifications, such as Power BI/Fabric Data Analyst.

•Experience with cloud-based data platforms, such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

•Experience with big data technologies, such as Hadoop, Spark, or NoSQL databases.
