Compensation Manager (HR) is a delivery-focused opportunity based in Kochi, India.
To independently establish and manage the Human Resources function, with a primary focus on statutory compliance, policy implementation, and performance management systems. Take end-to-end ownership of the HR function as an individual contributor.
Key Responsibilities

- Establish foundational HR processes, policies, and documentation
- Partner with leaders to align Compensation Manager (HR) priorities with business goals, team health, and talent needs.
- Advise managers on performance, engagement, organization design, and employee relations topics.
- Support workforce planning, hiring alignment, and talent-review processes with strong operational follow-through.
- Use people data and qualitative signals to identify themes, risks, and areas for improvement.
- Drive consistent application of policies, processes, and people programs across the organization.
- Coach stakeholders through change, conflict resolution, and communication-sensitive moments.
- Collaborate with recruiting, L&D, compensation, and leadership teams on cross-functional people initiatives.
- Improve employee experience by identifying friction points and strengthening manager enablement.
- Maintain careful documentation and sound judgment in confidential or high-sensitivity cases.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in human resources, business, psychology, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of employee relations, stakeholder management, and organizational effectiveness.
- Strong communication, discretion, and judgment when handling sensitive people matters.
- Ability to balance operational rigor with employee empathy and business alignment.
- Comfort partnering with leaders and cross-functional teams on talent priorities.
- Strong problem-solving skills with an eye for process improvement and policy consistency.
