We are seeking a skilled, experienced and technically knowledgeable Datacentre (DC) Operations Manager. The suitable candidate will oversee both the administrative and technical operations / maintenance of the DC on a daily basis.
Responsibilities
- Ensure smooth functioning of the DC to include provisioning of client requests, infrastructure monitoring and maintenance to ensure 99.99% uptime.
- Manage a team of technicians; coordinating operations, deliveries and maintenance schedules.
- Implement best practices and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Maintain the operational efficiency of the physical infrastructure of the DC facility.
- Provide all reports and returns as required by the management.
- Ensure security and access control of the DC.
- Oversee cleanliness and maintenance of the facility.
- Coordinate with vendors for maintenance and upgrades.
- Monitor and manage power distribution and cooling systems.
- Develop and implement disaster recovery plans.
