Platform Product Manager (Data · Bengaluru

As a Platform Product Manager for Data Platforms, you will be responsible for owning and driving modern data platform products. Your role will require deep hands-on exposure to tools like Databricks, Snowflake, DBT, and ETL tools such as Informatica or Talend. You will collaborate with business, engineering, and platform stakeholders to build scalable, cost-efficient, and high-performance data platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

• Own the product vision, roadmap, and lifecycle for enterprise data platforms.
• Translate business requirements into platform capabilities, epics, and user stories.
• Partner closely with data engineering teams to design and enhance scalable data architectures.
• Drive adoption and optimization of Databricks, Snowflake, and DBT across data pipelines.
• Ensure best practices for ETL/ELT frameworks using Informatica or Talend.
• Lead FinOps initiatives focusing on cloud spend visibility, cost optimization, and usage efficiency.
• Define platform KPIs such as performance, reliability, scalability, and cost efficiency.
• Collaborate with architecture, security, governance, and DevOps teams to ensure platform compliance and stability.
• Act as a key stakeholder in Agile delivery, backlog prioritization, sprint planning, and releases.
• Communicate product strategy and tradeoffs effectively to senior leadership.
