Your role and responsibilities

<li style="text-align:start;">In this role, you will have the opportunity to Handle Sales, marketing and prescription activities related to products, within the defined industry segment for PAN India. </li>

<li>Each day, you will ensure that the division and related sales units substantially improve their sales, margins, market share, and customer satisfaction in the select market segment. </li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li>You will also showcase your expertise by developing and implementing a market-based strategy including direct, third party, and project sales and enhancing cross-division and cross-region business-led collaborations for the specific market segment.</li>
</ul>

You will be mainly accountable for:

<ul>
<li style="margin-left:0px;">Business &amp; Sales Leadership: Manage business growth and sales budgets for the Automobile and Heavy Duty Equipment segment, with regional responsibility for ABB Installation Products, including Cable Protection Systems and Wire &amp; Cable Management Systems.</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li style="margin-left:0px;">Build and maintain relationships with key customers and external influencers to capture new business opportunities and enhance ABB’s market presence.</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li style="margin-left:0px;">Market Intelligence &amp; Standards Knowledge: Conduct benchmarking, competitor analysis, and industry trend assessments while providing knowledgeable guidance on international and local standards and codes for ABB products.</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li style="margin-left:0px;">Sales Execution &amp; Customer Satisfaction: Perform market visits, acquire new customers, resolve issues, communicate commercial terms, and ensure high customer satisfaction throughout the sales process.</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li style="margin-left:0px;">Collaboration, Marketing &amp; Reporting: Promote cross-division knowledge sharing, execute marketing activities to articulate ABB’s value proposition, identify new market opportunities, and provide regular performance reports with actionable insights to management.</li>

Qualifications for the role:

<li style="margin-left:0px;">Education &amp; Experience: BE in Electrical &amp; Electronics with 8–15 years of experience in the switchgear industry.</li>
</ul>

<li style="margin-left:0px;">Product &amp; Market Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of ABB Installation Products and customer requirements.</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li style="margin-left:0px;">Strategic Leadership: Demonstrated leadership through effective strategic business development and growth initiatives.</li>
</ul>
