What the Candidate Will Do

<ul>
<li style="margin-left:0px;">Develop a deep understanding of Uber Indias priorities (business targets, P&amp;L priorities, segmentation, customer insights) to be a thought partner with the regional leadership team and generate a marketing strategy &amp; plans for India.</li>

<li style="margin-left:0px;">As a member of the Indian leadership team, act as the lead marketing POC for all xfn stakeholders (Operations, Policy &amp; Comms, CommOps, etc) and an escalation point for your team.</li>

<li style="margin-left:0px;">This role will also be a part of the APAC Marketing leadership team, which means you will be responsible for connecting &amp; translating the global &amp; regional POV/opportunities through to your local market and vice versa.</li>

<li style="margin-left:0px;">Identify and prioritise for your team, local marketing opportunities aligned with business priorities and moments (events, partnerships, cultural and seasonal moments, etc), and deliver locally created campaigns or activations against them.</li>

<li style="margin-left:0px;">Manage a team of Marketing Managers, who will be responsible for the execution of marketing initiatives, providing them with coaching, guidance, career opportunities, as well as hands-on support.</li>
</ul>

<li style="margin-left:0px;">Provide strong leadership for your team, setting the culture and vision and ensuring the well-being of the team. Help manage partnerships with external partners, figuring out ways in which we can develop joint marketing activities and co-marketing plans.</li>

What the Candidate Will Need

<li style="margin-left:0px;">10+ years marketing experience, including extensive experience managing large-scale brand marketing campaigns. 5+ years of experience leading teams in fast-paced companies.</li>
</ul>

<li style="margin-left:0px;">Experience in creating local marketing executions and leading different agency relationships. High marketing strategy capabilities and experience, with proven ability to diagnose market and brand insights to set vision and make effective trade-offs to implement winning strategies.</li>

<li style="margin-left:0px;">Experience of working for a global brand; able to navigate a cross-matrix structure with a collaborative environment.</li>
</ul>
