Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end Power BI solution design and delivery

• Design and maintain enterprise semantic models (star schema, reusable datasets)

• Develop and optimize DAX measures, calculations, and performance

• Create executive-ready dashboards using strong UX and data storytelling principles

• Write and optimize advanced SQL queries for data analysis and validation

• Partner with data engineering teams on data models, views, and pipelines

• Gather requirements, run workshops, and translate business questions into KPIs and reports/dashboards.

• Present insights and dashboards to senior stakeholders and clients

• Define BI standards, governance, security (RLS), and best practices

• Mentor Power BI developers and review solution quality

Required Skills & Experience

• 7+ years in BI / Analytics with 3+ years in Power BI leadership roles

• Strong expertise in Power BI (Desktop & Service), DAX, Power Query (M)

• Proven experience designing semantic / tabular data models

• Advanced SQL skills (joins, CTEs, window functions, performance tuning)

• Solid understanding of data warehousing / lakehouse concepts

• Strong data visualization and dashboard design skills

• Excellent client-facing communication and stakeholder management abilities

Nice to Have

• Experience with Microsoft Fabric, Azure Synapse, Snowflake, Databricks

• Power BI / Microsoft certifications (PL-300, DP-500)

• Consulting or multi-stakeholder delivery experience
