Technical Competencies

1. Ability to independently perform application, API, and cloud workload security testing

2. Strong understanding of authentication, authorization, session management, and data protection mechanisms

3. Experience in validating vulnerabilities and prioritizing risks based on business impact

4. Ability to provide secure design and remediation guidance to development and cloud teams

5. Capability to assess and manage third party application and vendor security risks

Good-to-Have

1. Experience integrating AppSec practices into CI/CD or DevSecOps pipelines

2. Exposure to secure architecture reviews for cloud based applications

3. Familiarity with cloud security posture concepts related to application workloads

4. Knowledge of compliance and risk frameworks such as ISO 27001, SOC 2, etc.

5. Application Security or Cloud Security certifications such as:

6. CSSLP, GWAPT, CCSP, CEH, or equivalent

7. Prior exposure to engineering, EPC, or industrial domains

8. Tools and frameworks for SaaS and Third Party Security Risk Assessment
