Key Responsibilities:

<li>Cost Allocation &amp; Chargeback: Develop cost allocation models to track security costs by product and business unit to ensure transparency and accountability.</li>
</ul>

<li>SaaS Margin Improvement: Work closely with Finance, Engineering, and Security teams to balance security effectiveness with cost efficiency, improving overall product margins.</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li>Vendor Management: Partner with procurement to evaluate security tool contracts, suggest insights for negotiations, and assess alternative solutions to optimize spending.</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li>Usage Efficiency: Identify underutilized or redundant security tools, consolidate solutions where appropriate, and ensure alignment with business and compliance needs.</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li>Budgeting &amp; Forecasting: Collaborate with Finance to create security spend forecasts and ensure alignment with financial goals.</li>
</ul>

<li>Data-Driven Insights: Help develop dashboards and reporting mechanisms to monitor security spend trends, anomalies, and opportunities for optimization.</li>

<li>Collaboration &amp; Stakeholder Engagement: Work cross-functionally with Security, Finance, CloudOps, and Product teams to drive FinOps best practices in security cost management.</li>

What we are looking for:

<li>5+ years of experience in FinOps, Cloud Cost Management, IT Finance, or related fields.</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li>Strong knowledge of cloud security tools and services.</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li>Experience optimizing security spend in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) and SaaS platforms.</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li>Strong analytical skills with experience in BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, Looker) and cost analysis frameworks.</li>

<li>Familiarity with security compliance standards (SOC 2, ISO 27001, NIST) and their cost implications.</li>

<li>Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to present financial insights to both technical and non-technical audiences.</li>
