Senior Mechanical Engineer - C · Bengaluru

VMysmartpros is seeking an experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer to drive continuous improvement initiatives for advanced humanoid robotic systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead continuous improvement initiatives by identifying and resolving design, assembly, and manufacturing bottlenecks.
• Perform root cause analysis on electromechanical system failures and implement robust corrective actions.
• Optimize mechanical designs for manufacturability (DFM), assembly (DFA), reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
• Design, prototype, and rigorously test novel mechanical components and robotic subsystems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional electrical, firmware, and software teams on integrated electromechanical platforms.
• Develop and enforce standardized best practices for mechanical assembly, functional testing, and quality control.
• Utilize advanced CAD tools (SolidWorks, CATIA) to create comprehensive 3D models and manufacturing drawings.
• Execute Finite Element Analysis (FEA) simulations to validate mechanical integrity and thermal performance.
• Apply GD&T and tolerance stack-up analysis to ensure high precision in fabricated components.
• Work closely with manufacturing vendors on CNC machining, injection molding, and 3D printing requirements.
• Document engineering change orders (ECOs) and design revisions for seamless knowledge transfer.
• Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior mechanical and manufacturing engineers.
