Senior Mechanical Engineer - C · All India

We are looking for a Senior Mechanical Engineer specializing in continuous improvement to optimize designs, manufacturing workflows, and performance for advanced humanoid robotic systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead continuous improvement initiatives by identifying and resolving electromechanical design and manufacturing bottlenecks.
• Perform root cause analysis on system failures, performance issues, and production inefficiencies to deploy corrective actions.
• Collaborate closely with electrical, firmware, software, and assembly teams to integrate mechanical improvements seamlessly.
• Optimize complex mechanical designs for manufacturability (DFM), reliability, serviceability, and cost-effectiveness.
• Design, prototype, and test new robotic components, mechanisms, and structural subsystems.
• Develop and implement standardized best practices for mechanical assembly, functional testing, and quality control.
• Utilize CAD software such as SolidWorks or CATIA to create high-precision 3D models and detailed engineering drawings.
• Conduct Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and tolerance stack-up analyses using GD&T principles.
• Evaluate and oversee manufacturing processes including CNC machining, sheet metal fabrication, injection molding, and 3D printing.
• Document engineering change orders (ECOs) and design improvements to ensure clear technical communication.
• Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior mechanical engineers and technicians.
