JustSoftware is hiring a US Healthcare Interoperability Engineer to develop and manage healthcare data exchange integrations.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and support healthcare interoperability interfaces utilizing HL7 v2, v3, and FHIR standards.
• Configure and maintain integration engines like Mirth Connect or similar interface tools.
• Develop and test RESTful APIs for seamless electronic health record (EHR) data transmission.
• Transform, map, and validate complex clinical data structures across XML, JSON, and pipe-delimited formats.
• Ensure interface compliance with US healthcare regulations including HIPAA and ONC standards.
• Troubleshoot message exchange errors and resolve communication channel bottlenecks.
• Collaborate with clinical analysts and integration architects to define data mapping specifications.
• Conduct end-to-end integration testing with external healthcare providers and EHR vendors.
• Monitor production interfaces and maintain high availability of real-time clinical feeds.
• Document technical specifications, integration workflows, and API architectures.
