Cognizant is seeking a Lead Quality Engineer to drive quality engineering initiatives, establish testing best practices, and deliver robust software quality assurance across complex enterprise solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and drive comprehensive end-to-end quality engineering and test automation strategies.
• Lead and mentor QA engineering teams across functional and non-functional testing tracks.
• Architect, implement, and maintain scalable test automation frameworks for web and API platforms.
• Establish standard testing methodologies, metrics, and quality gates across agile delivery teams.
• Collaborate with software engineering and DevOps teams to integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
• Conduct performance, security, and integration testing for complex enterprise systems.
• Oversee test design, test execution, defect management, and root cause analysis workflows.
• Evaluate emerging QA tools, test automation frameworks, and quality engineering techniques.
• Ensure compliance with client SLAs, engineering standards, and enterprise software release criteria.
• Provide detailed QA metrics, defect trend reporting, and release readiness dashboards to stakeholders.
